Triclops began when Scott, John and Reinhardt put together an organ trio for a weekly gig at the Good Foot Lounge. They knew the band would be fun and the music would be good but they soon found themselves connecting musically on a level none expected.

All three guys have played in some great groups and with great musicians (B.B King, Albert Colins, James Carter, Earl King, Tony Furtado, J.G.B and more) and they quickly recognized that this group is something special. Music flows naturally from them and people respond to it. Their improvisational aproach to funk has led them to couplings with Karl Denson, Charlie Hunter, Garage Mahal and other such bands.

- Willamette Week:
Known for its powers to sustain the funk for hours, Triclops will definitely draw a blazing herd.

- Mercury
I've rarely seen a live band so adept at creating a certain atmosphere, it's easy to feel like you're part of some forgotten nightlife set that probably never really existed outside of the sets of 60's b-movies in the first place.

- Oregonian:
Local leaders in the resurgence in groove oriented jazz. This popular organ trio draws a young crowd and schools it on the art of jamming. Well worth checking out.
